Woo Jin-Chul is one of the pillars of the Hunters Association in Solo Leveling: an S-rank hunter, the right-hand man of Go Gun-Hee, he watches over Korea and eventually becomes the head of the Association. A portrait of a man of duty.
Who is Woo Jin-Chul?
Woo Jin-Chul is an S-rank hunter and the director of the surveillance department of the Korean Hunters Association. Serious, methodical, and incorruptible, he tracks down dangerous hunters and enforces order.
Go Gun-Hee’s right-hand man
For years, Woo Jin-Chul was President Go Gun-Hee’s trusted right-hand man. He carried out his most delicate missions and shared his vision: to protect civilians and regulate the world of hunters.
A devoted hunter
Equipped with great mastery in combat and unshakable composure, Woo Jin-Chul puts his power at the service of the common good rather than personal glory. He is an upright character, respected by all, much like other S-rank hunters such as Cha Hae-In or Choi Jong-In.
At the head of the Association
After the passing of Go Gun-Hee, Woo Jin-Chul takes up the mantle and assumes leadership of the Association. He takes on this heavy responsibility with the same rigor, aware of the growing threats weighing upon humanity.
Woo Jin-Chul and Sung Jin-Woo
A privileged witness to the rise of Sung Jin-Woo, Woo Jin-Chul is one of the first to gauge his true power. Far from fearing him, he chooses to trust him and rely on him to defend the country.

An A-rank hunter with a sense of duty
Woo Jin-Chul is an A-rank hunter whose abilities border on those of an S-rank. Stoic and driven by a keen sense of duty, he deeply despises selfish hunters ready to sacrifice others for their own gain. He is a man of integrity, rare in a world where power corrupts.
The pillar of the Hunters Association
He works within the Korean Hunters Association, where his moral integrity and leadership make him a trusted figure. Particularly in charge of surveillance, he crosses paths with Jin-Woo very early on—whom he observes with a mixture of suspicion and growing respect.
